Listen I understand everyone watches the playoffs and that New York is the biggest TV market in the U.S. but still that’s some impressive Shatner right there. Makes me wonder if the same would be true if the Jets went to the Super Bowl. I don’t think you’d see these kinds of numbers.

I can’t begin to fathom how NASCAR events crush playoff hockey, though. It’s mind-bottling to me that people would rather watch cars go round and round in circles 500 times than watch a hard-hitting 4-3 double OT set to the commentary of Gary Thorne.
